CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 <br />• Also expressed appreciation to Chief Krantz and the Police Department and gratitude that the officers <br />were not more seriously injured in the incident over the past weekend. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />• Agreed with Commissioner Meadows' sentiments and inquired how Police Department staff was <br />coping after the incident that occurred over the weekend. Chief Krantz advised everyone was doing <br />well. <br />• Shared that he had read an interesting magazine article about walkable neighborhoods and noted that <br />the City of Casselberry was doing a lot of good things towards being a walkable community. He <br />thanked staff for their efforts in providing walkability in a densely built City. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon — Seat 3: <br />Thanked Chief Krantz and the officers who responded to the incident over the weekend, and <br />expressed relief that the injured officers would be okay. <br />Advised she continues to receive compliments about all the good things that have happened in the City <br />over the past few years and urged staff to keep up the good work. <br />Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. 1: <br />• Echoed the earlier sentiments expressed by the Commission regarding the incident over the weekend, <br />stating he was also grateful that the situation did not become worse than what had occurred. He added <br />that the Commission as a whole extended thoughts and prayers for the injured officers and all those <br />who responded, and expressed continued support for the Police Department. <br />
