RESOLUTION 09-2056 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RENAMING <br />ANNIVERSARY PARK TO LADE CONCORD PARK; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />WHEREAS, parks provide a place to build community, host programs, and are a welcome <br />respite from our fast paced life; and <br />WHEREAS, the community has demonstrated they value the importance of parks in their <br />neighborhoods; and <br />WHEREAS, Anniversary Park has undergone a renovation substantially changing the <br />character and purpose of the park; and <br />WHEREAS, chang ng the name of the park would provide a more pleasant and marketable <br />name in alignment with the new character of the park; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommended a name change and <br />Lake Concord Park was on the list of names provided. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The name of Anniversary Park will now be changed and the park renamed to <br />Lake Concord Park. <br />SECTION It. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of flus Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION 1V.
