CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 26, 2017 —Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 13 <br />Employee Health Insurance Renewal <br />Introduction: Renewal of City employees' health insurance coverage from United HealthCare is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the City's share of employee health insurance premiums will be provided in the <br />adopted budget for FY 2018 in the applicable Health Insurance expenditure accounts for each department. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of the negotiated <br />renewal for health insurance coverage with United HealthCare. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report <br />No report. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />Mayor Glancy reported the group had met on Friday, June 16, 2017 and advised that Deborah La Fleur of Gray <br />Robinson had been selected as the new Chairperson. She shared that the new class would start on Friday, <br />August 4, 2017 and was almost full. She added that the marks from last year's class were the highest ever and <br />the changes to the program which had been made seemed to be very effective. She advised that the focus for <br />the incoming class in helping their chosen charity would be on volunteerism as opposed to mostly fundraising <br />as it has been in the past. <br />D. Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />No report. <br />
