First Reading of Ordinance 17-1468 - Amending Chapter 18, Animals, to Create Section 18.3, <br />Bird Sanctuary <br />Ordinance 17-1468 provides for amending Chapter 18, Animals, of the City Code of Ordinances, to create Section 18.3, <br />Bird Sanctuary, to create a sanctuary city wide for all bird and peafowl species. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />The purpose of a Public Hearing is to receive input regarding the item being considered. Public Hearings are not intended to <br />be a time for the public to obtain information about the subject matter of the hearing. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 17-1461 - Amending Chapter 62, Pensions and <br />Retirement Article I, Section 62-2001 <br />Ordinance 17-1461 provides for amending the City of Casselberry Code of Ordinances Chapter 62, Pensions and <br />Retirement, Article I — Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan, Section 62-2001 redefining the definition of salary <br />for pensionable wages. <br />B. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 17-1462 - Amending City Code Chapter 60, <br />Parks and Recreation <br />Ordinance 17-1462 provides for amending City Code Chapter 60, Parks and Recreation. <br />C. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 17-1463 - Amending the City's Unified Land <br />Development Regulations, Chapter H, Article VII, General Regulations, Section 2-7.22 <br />Satellite Dishes and Communication Antennas and Towers, and Creating a new Section 2- <br />7.36 Communication Tower, Communication Antenna, and Wireless Communication Facility <br />Regulations. (LPA 17-04) <br />Ordinance 17-1463 provides for amending the City Code of Ordinances, Part III, Unified Land Regulations, Chapter II, <br />Article VII, General Regulations, Section 2-7.22, Satellite Dishes and Communication Antennas and Towers, to remove <br />criteria related to communication antennas and towers, creating Section 2-7.36 Communication Tower, Communication <br />Antenna, and Wireless Communication Facility regulations, to reinsert criteria related to communication antennas and <br />towers, and to add a new subsection to create regulations for wireless communication facilities. <br />D. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 17-1464 - Amending the City Code of <br />Ordinances, Chapter 68, Roadway and Utility Construction <br />Ordinance 17-1464 amends the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter 68, Roadway and Utility Construction, by providing an <br />accurate title for the permitting process and clarifying permit requirements. <br />E. Public Hearing: Resolution 17-2968 - Street Lighting Final Assessment Resolution <br />Resolution 17-2968 provides for the Street Lighting Final Assessment Resolution for the implementation of the street <br />lighting service assessment for Fiscal Year 2018. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />A. Tentative Tax Rate for Fiscal Year 2017/2018 <br />Consideration to set the tentative millage rate for Fiscal Year 2017/2018 (FY 2018) at 3.1201 mills is requested. <br />13.
