He said this connection would provide a pedestrian <br />connectivity trail from the existing sidewalk on US Highway 17/92 and the proposed future sidewalk on Oxford Road. <br />Mr. Woodruff said the request is consistent with both the existing Voluntary Development Commitment Agreement <br />and with the CRA Plan Objectives. <br />Mr. Woodruff said the trail would be an 8 -foot wide sidewalk with lights, landscaping and a bench. He said <br />staff is requesting the CRA amend the Fiscal Year 2016/2017 Budget to commit $31,913 to meet the construction <br />needs for the trail. <br />Ms. Glancy asked for a motion for the trail funding. Ms. Solomon made a motion to approve the sidewalk <br />reimbursement agreement with CO -BB Casselberry Venture, LLC EastlWest Connection as presented. <br />Mr. Aramendia seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Fifth Item of Business: Sidewalk Reimbursement Agreement with CO -BB Casselberry Venture, LLC <br />(North/South Connection) <br />Mr. Randy Woodruff, Interim Community Development Director, said this is a request for a financial <br />commitment from the CRA to support the design and construction of the Talisman Trail Shared Use Path <br />(North/South Connection). He said this segment would provide pedestrian connectivity from Piney Ridge Road to the <br />proposed trail that was presented in the last agenda item (east/west along Bainbridge Apartment Complex). <br />He said the trail would be an 8 foot -wide sidewalk with lights, landscaping and a bench. He said staff is <br />requesting the CRA amend the Fiscal Year 2016/2017 Budget to commit $264,253 to meet the construction needs of <br />the North/South Connection of the proposed trail. <br />After a brief discussion regarding the time frame for both trail connections, Ms. Glancy asked for a motion <br />for the trail funding. Ms. Solomon made a motion to approve the sidewalk reimbursement agreement with CO -BB <br />Casselberry Venture LLC for the North/South Connection. Mr. Aramendia seconded the motion. The motion passed <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br />Sixth Item: Other Business. <br />There was no other business. <br />
