Emma Long, 420 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804 stated that on behalf of the applicant and the entity before <br />them they concur with the summary given by the City Attorney, however they respectfully request that if the <br />electronic portion of the sign is removed as set forth in the stipulated agreement that the case be dismissed prior <br />to November 18, 2017. <br />Ms. Cocotas explained the timing will depend on compliance. If compliance occurs prior to November 1, 2017, <br />the case can be dismissed and will not end up on the docket. If there is an issue regarding compliance, the next <br />hearing will be November 18t", (actual hearing date is November 9, 2017), and the City would come forward on <br />that date to address any issues. Given the time period for compliance, if there is compliance, Code Enforcement <br />will close the case. <br />Ms. Long advised that with Ms. Cocotas' explanation they are fine. <br />The Special Magistrate stated that if both parties are ok with this then it can be revisited in July, if the <br />respondents need anything such as an order of dismissal, send it to him directly. <br />Ms. Long advised they would be asking for something in writing. <br />Finding of Fact: The Special Magistrate made a finding in case 17-000532, 3920 S Highway 17/92; <br />Casselberry, FL having heard parties and taking notice that a stipulated agreement has entered among the <br />parties, the stipulated agreement was adopted. A ruling was not entered in regards to the violation. The <br />stipulated agreement stated that the property is being given the opportunity to correct the alleged violation and <br />given a date of November 1, 2017, if there is not compliance by this date, the intent is to have a hearing before <br />the Special Magistrate on November 18, 2017 (actual hearing date will be November 9, 2017). This case is <br />being continued until the November hearing date, if there is still a problem at that point the case will be heard. <br />If the matter is resolved by then, an order can be sent to the Special Magistrate, dismissing the case. There was <br />no other action taken. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />The Special Magistrate asked if there was any other business to discuss. <br />There was no other business. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />The Special Magistrate asked if there were any public comments.
