RESOLUTION 17-2961 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT #18 TO THE <br />CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT <br />SERVICES CONTRACT WITH ASSOCIATED . CONSULTING <br />INTERNATIONAL, INC. TO DESIGN A RESTROOM ADDITION, <br />RELOCATE THE PLAYGROUND AND REPURPOSE THE FORMER <br />PLAY AREA FOR THE LAKE CONCORD PARK DISTRICT <br />PROPERTIES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission approved a Continuing Professional Development <br />Management Services Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. (ACi) on April 9, <br />2012 via Resolution 12-2361 to provide professional development management services for <br />development of the Lake Concord Park district; and <br />WHEREAS, as part of the development project, the City is responsible for performing <br />major infrastructure improvements that include the realignment of Triplet Lake Drive, the partial <br />demolition and reconstruction of the Public Works building, site work to the entire 15 -acre <br />property to the south and the expansion of Lake Concord Park; and <br />WHEREAS, ACi, as the City's Architect/Engineer of Record, provided construction <br />oversight services for this work via Supplemental Agreements 916 and #17 to the Continuing <br />Professional Development Management Services Contract that were approved by the City <br />Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the project is near completion but requires a design of a restroom facility <br />addition, relocation of the proposed playground and repurposing of the former playground area <br />for the Lake Concord Park Promenade and ACi has provided a proposal to complete the design <br />scope of services, including construction oversight of same, via Supplemental Agreement #18 in <br />the amount not to exceed $15,825; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the proposed Supplemental Agreement #18 with <br />ACi and finds it sufficient to meet the needs of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Supplemental Agreement #18 to the Continuing Professional Development Management <br />Services Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. for design scope of services <br />
