RESOLUTION 17-2947 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT # 1 TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT <br />AGREEMENT WITH VANASSE HANGEN BRUSTLIN, INC. FOR A 12 - <br />MONTH TERM EXTENSION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Standard Consultant Agreement with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. <br />(VHB) for Professional Services for Stormwater, Lakes Management, and Water Quality Related <br />Projects was approved by the City Commission on February 24, 2014 for a three-year term; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2, Terms, the Standard Consultant Agreement may be <br />extended for two additional 12 -month periods or portions thereof, up to a cumulative total of five <br />years; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and VHB now desire to enact the first 12 -month period extension <br />which will expire February 23, 2018 and is provided via Amendment #1. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Amendment #1 to the Standard Consultant Agreement for Professional Services for Stormwater, <br />Lakes Management, and Water Quality Related Projects with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. for <br />a 12 -month term extension which expires February 23, 2018 and authorizes the Mayor to execute <br />said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
