RESOLUTION 17-2947 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT # 1 TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH VANASSE HANGEN BRUSTLIN, INC. FOR A 12 - MONTH TERM EXTENSION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Standard Consultant Agreement with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB) for Professional Services for Stormwater, Lakes Management, and Water Quality Related Projects was approved by the City Commission on February 24, 2014 for a three-year term; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2, Terms, the Standard Consultant Agreement may be extended for two additional 12 -month periods or portions thereof, up to a cumulative total of five years; and WHEREAS, the City and VHB now desire to enact the first 12 -month period extension which will expire February 23, 2018 and is provided via Amendment #1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Amendment #1 to the Standard Consultant Agreement for Professional Services for Stormwater, Lakes Management, and Water Quality Related Projects with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. for a 12 -month term extension which expires February 23, 2018 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
