RESOLUTION 16-2920 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT #17 TO THE CONTINUING <br />PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br />CONTRACT WITH ASSOCIATED CONSULTING INTERNATIONAL, <br />INC. TO PROVIDE AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR CONTINUED <br />PLANNING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES TO FURTHER DEVELOP <br />THE LAKE CONCORD PARK DISTRICT PROPERTIES; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission approved a Continuing Professional Development <br />Management Services Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. (ACi) on April 9, <br />2012 via Resolution 12-2361 to provide professional development management services for <br />development of the Lake Concord Park district; and <br />WHEREAS, as part of the development project, the City is responsible for performing <br />major infrastructure improvements that include the realignment of Triplet Lake Drive, the partial <br />demolition and reconstruction of the Public Works building, site work to the entire 15 -acre <br />property to the south and the expansion of Lake Concord Park; and <br />WHEREAS, ACi, as the City's Architect/Engineer of Record, provided a proposal in the <br />amount of $189,254 via Supplemental Agreement #16 to the Continuing Professional <br />Development Management Services Contract to provide construction oversight services for this <br />work; and <br />WHEREAS, the project is near completion but requires an extension of time for up to <br />three months through November, 2016 and ACi has provided a proposal to continue construction <br />oversight services via Supplemental Agreement #17 in the amount of $50,751; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the proposed Supplemental Agreement #17 with <br />ACi and finds it sufficient to meet the needs of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Supplemental Agreement #17 to the Continuing Professional Development Management <br />Services Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. for continued construction <br />oversight services for the Lake Concord Park District development for up to three months in the <br />amount of $50,751 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />
