RESOLUTION 16-2912-B A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 46 TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH CPH ENGINEERS, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION AND INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE DOMMERICH HILLS PIPE BURSTING PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, in August of 2016, Phase 1 of the Dommerich Hills Pipe Bursting project was completed, which replaced about 2.5 miles of existing water lines that had reached its life expectancy; and WHEREAS, Phase 2 of this project was budgeted in FY 2017 which consists of replacing approximately 2.8 miles of additional water lines; and WHEREAS, CPH Engineers, Inc. (CPH) is a continuing engineering consultant with the City and was awarded Supplemental Agreement No. 46 for construction engineering and inspection services for the Dommerich Hills Pipe Bursting Project on January 12, 2015; and WHEREAS, professional construction engineering and inspection services will also be needed for Phase 2 of the Dommerich Hills Pipe Bursting Project; and WHEREAS, Public Works staff requested and obtained a cost proposal for Addendum No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 46 for an amount not to exceed $138,726.50 without prior authorization, to perform construction engineering and inspection services for Phase 2 of the Dommerich Hills Pipe Bursting Project; and WHEREAS, Public Works staff has reviewed Addendum No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 46 and finds it favorable to meets the needs of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselber7y hereby approves Addendum No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 46 with CPH Engineers, Inc. for the not -to -exceed amount of $139,281.50 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
