The source of funding will be from fiend balance reserves, account #113-0000-389.90-00. <br />BA #17-014 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for costs <br />associated with the Talisman (Ascension) Trail Project. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />113-0000-389.90-00 Other Non -Operating Source $50,000 <br />113-0210-515.63-40 Infrastructure -Trail Connections $50,000 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Interim Community Development Director recommended <br />approval of Budget Amendment #17-014. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address any item on the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Meadows. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 4-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report — Mayor Glancy <br />Mayor Glancy reported she had attended a meeting on Thursday December 8, 2016 and discussion at the <br />meeting included: an update from Lynx on service changes beginning December 11, 2016 which mainly <br />affected the City of Maitland, Osceola County and State Road 434; a report from Florida Department of <br />Transportation (FDOT) on the status of the I-4 Ultimate Project which has two years completed with five years <br />remaining for construction of the improvements; a presentation on the reThink Your Commute program during <br />which Casselberry was given credit for having made the Best Places to Work list; and an update on the <br />Legislative Priorities list for transportation issues to be brought up to the State Legislature. She shared that the <br />top four were: <br />• Increased funding to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety awareness programs and <br />bicycle/pedestrian facility improvements; <br />• Funding for implementation of quiet zones along the SunRail corridor; <br />
