All were present. <br />5. MINUTES <br />A. Minutes of September 26, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the September 26, <br />2016 Regular Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />A. Acceptance of a Sculpture Created by Milos Saric <br />Staff Presentation: Mayor Glancy recognized Serbian sculptor Milos Saric and his wife Sonja who were <br />presenting as a gift to the City of Casselberry the sculpture titled "The Belgrade Reader" through a Cultural <br />Exchange Program with Serbia. Mayor Glancy accepted the gift of the artwork from Mr. Saric, and also <br />recognized Ms. Gordana Pesakovic, Program Chair for Herzing University who was instrumental in initiating <br />the proj ect which resulted in Mr. Saric's gift. Recreation Manager Linda Moore then gave a brief overview of <br />Mr. Saric's accomplishments and presented him with a plaque on behalf of the City recognizing and thanking <br />him for his creative contribution to the arts in the City of Casselberry. She advised that the piece would be <br />unveiled in its temporary location at the Casselberry Art House and a reception would be held in honor of Mr. <br />Saric and his wife immediately following tonight's Commission meeting. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended the acceptance of the <br />sculpture created by Milos Saric gifted to the City by a Cultural Exchange Program through the Belgrade <br />Reading Program of Serbia. <br />B. Mayor's Proclamation — Community Planning Month — October 2016 <br />Mayor Glancy read into the record and presented a Proclamation to the City's Planning Division staff <br />proclaiming the month of October 2016 as Community Planning Month in the City of Casselberry. <br />
