Second Reading of Ordinance 16-1448 — Official Future Land Use Map Amendment for Properties Located at 315 and 351 Concord Drive (LPA 16-10) The City Clerk read Ordinance 16-1448 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF PUBLIC SERVICE (PS) FOR THE PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing for Ordinance 16-1448 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Staff Presentation: Interim Community Development Director Randy Woodruff gave a brief overview of Ordinance 16-1448, stating that the ordinance proposed to amend the Future Land Use Designation for the properties located at 315 and 351 Concord Drive from Seminole County Low Density Residential (LDR) to City of Casselberry Public Service (PS). The requested land use designation is compatible with the proposed future use of this site; consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; and compatible with the surrounding mix of zoning and land uses. Mr. Woodruff advised that there had been no changes to Ordinance 16-1448 since approved on first reading. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Interim Community Development Director recommended adoption of Ordinance 16-1448 on second reading. Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16-1448. No one came forward to address Ordinance 16-1448. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16- 1448. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 16-1448 on second and final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0.
