FIRST READING OF ®FINANCES <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />A. Second Reading of Ordinance 16-1448 — Official Future Land Use Map Amendment <br />for Properties Located at 315 and 351 Concord Drive (LPA 16-10) <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 16-1448 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP <br />ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF PUBLIC SERVICE (PS) FOR THE <br />PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing for Ordinance 16-1448 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, July 28, 2016. <br />Staff Presentation: Interim Community Development Director Randy Woodruff gave a brief overview of <br />Ordinance 16-1448, stating that the ordinance proposed to amend the Future Land Use Designation for the <br />properties located at 315 and 351 Concord Drive from Seminole County Low Density Residential (LDR) to <br />City of Casselberry Public Service (PS). The requested land use designation is compatible with the proposed <br />future use of this site; consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; and compatible with the surrounding <br />mix of zoning and land uses. Mr. Woodruff advised that there had been no changes to Ordinance 16-1448 <br />since approved on first reading. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Interim Community Development Director recommended <br />adoption of Ordinance 16-1448 on second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16-1448. No one came <br />forward to address Ordinance 16-1448. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16- <br />1448. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 16-1448 on second and final <br />reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />
