Budizet Amendment #16-057 — Additional City Attorney Expenses Introduction: Budget Amendment #16-057 provides for additional funding for City Attorney expenses for the remainder of FY 2016 in the amount of $45,000. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #16-057 will increase the General Fund City Attorney account #001-0140-514.31-01 and decrease the Facilities Repairs and Maintenance account #001-0722- 519.46-00 in the amount of $45,000. BA #16-057 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval for funds necessary to cover the City Attorney expenses incurred to date and anticipated for the remainder of FY 2016. Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program Unique Abilities Grant Application Introduction: Consideration to apply for the 2016-2017 Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) Unique Abilities Grant in the amount of $50,000 to provide accessibility enhancements to Crystal Bowl Butterfly Park is requested. Budget Impact: There will be no impact to the City Budget because no City match is required for small projects under $50,000. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the submission of the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program Unique Abilities Grant to provide accessibility enhancements to the Crystal Bowl Butterfly Park.
