Resolution 16-2889 — School Resource Officer Agreement "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD FOR SERVICES OF A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER FOR THE 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 16-2889 approves the Agreement and duties of the School Resource Officer (SRO) for South Seminole Middle School for the 2016-2017 school year in the amount of $35,493.00 between the City of Casselberry and the Seminole County School Board, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Casselberry. Budget Impact: The revenue from Seminole County for half (50%) of the School Resource Officer's salary and benefits in the amount of $35,493.00 has been included in the FY 2017 General Fund SRO revenue account #001-0000-337.21-01. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 16-2889. C. Resolution 16-2890 — Amendment No. 2 to Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with Vanasse Hansen Brustlin, Inc. for Concord Drive Improvements and Related Budget Amendment #16-056 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH VANASSE HANGEN BRUSTLIN, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR STORMWATER, LAKES MANAGEMENT AND WATER QUALITY RELATED PROJECTS FOR THE CONCORD DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABH ITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 16-2890 approves Amendment No. 2 to Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. to provide additional design -related services for the Concord Drive Improvements project in the amount of $77,550.88, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #16-056 is also requested. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #16-056 will increase the Stormwater Utility Infrastructure Account #110-0740-539.63-40 and decrease the Stormwater Professional Services account #110-0740-539.3 1- 00 by the amount of $77,551, and will be sufficient to cover the cost of Amendment No. 2. BA #16-056 Explanation of Request: This budget amendment is necessary to re -appropriate funds to cover cost associated with Amendment No. 2 to Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc., in the amount of $77,550.88, related to the Concord Drive Improvements Project.
