community Redevelopment Agency <br />September 12, 2016 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />capital outlay line item is consistent with the CRA Plan and will be used for the trail connection from US Highway <br />17/92 to Oxford Road. <br />Ms. Glancy asked for a motion on the approval of the proposed 2016-2017 Budget. Ms. Solomon made a <br />motion to approve the proposed 2016-2017 budget as presented. Mr. Aramendia seconded the motion. The motion <br />passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Fifth Item of Business: Ascension (Shared Use Path) <br />Mr. Bob Cantu, Economic Development Manager, said this request is to authorize Southeastern Surveying <br />to provide the City with a boundary survey for the Ascension/Talisman right of way. He said this will be part of the <br />connection from Oxford Road to Piney Ridge Road. Mr. Cantu said this information is needed before the design <br />work can be completed. <br />In response to the Board's question, Mr. Cantu said that landscaping between the church and the path could <br />be discussed during the design process. <br />Ms. Glancy asked for a motion on the approval of the Ascension shared use path. Mr. Aramendia made a <br />motion to approve the Ascension shared use path survey. Ms. Solomon seconded the motion.
