Resolution 16-2866— Agreement for Dispatching Services Addendum for FY 2016- <br />2017 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE FY 2016/2017 ADDENDUM TO THE AGREEMENT FOR <br />POLICE DISPATCHING SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE <br />SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; SEVERABILITY, <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 16-2866 approves the FY 2016/17 Addendum to the Agreement for Dispatching <br />Services with the Seminole County Sheriff s Office, as set forth in Exhibit A attached to said resolution, and <br />authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />Budget Impact: The amount of $467,803 has been allocated in the proposed FY 2016-2017 Budget in the <br />Police Department Other Contractual Service -Dispatch Services general ledger account 4001-0610-521.34-09. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 16-2866. <br />D. Resolution 16-2867 — Street Ling Assessment Preliminary Rate Resolution <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />RELATING TO THE DELIVERY AND FUNDING OF STREET LIGHTING SERVICES WITHIN <br />THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR THE IMPOSITION OF STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS <br />WITHIN THE ENTIRE AREA OF THE CITY; ESTIMATING THE SERVICE COST TO PROVIDE <br />STREET LIGHTING SERVICES, FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENTS; <br />ESTABLISHING THE METHOD OF ASSESSING THE STREET LIGHTING SERVICE COST <br />AGAINST REAL PROPERTY THAT WILL BE SPECIALLY BENEFITED; DIRECTING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE A PRELIMINARY STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENT ROLL; <br />ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER IMPOSITION OF THE PROPOSED <br />STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS; DIRECTING THE PROVISION OF NOTICE IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 16-2867 serves as the Preliminary Rate Resolution for the implementation of the <br />Street Lighting Assessment for Fiscal Year 2017, as required bythe process established in Ordinance 09-1301, <br />and delineates the assessment area, estimates the street costs, outlines the methodology used for determining <br />the assessment to properties based on the benefit received, establishes a public hearing for final approval, and <br />states the collection method for the Street Lighting Assessment for FY 2017. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />
