CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 23, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 15 <br />Resolution 16-2864 — Use of Contin e�ncy Funds for Miscellaneous Construction <br />Issues Related to the Public Works Administration Building for the Lake Concord <br />Park and Triplet Lake Drive Signature Street Projects and Related Budget <br />Amendment #16-046 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING THE USE OF CONTINGENCY FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />CONTINGENCY CHANGE ORDER NO. I FOR MISCELLANEOUS CONSTRUCTION ISSUES <br />RELATED TO THE PUBLIC WORKS ADMINISTRATION BUILDING FOR THE LAKE <br />CONCORD PARK AND TRIPLET LAKE DRIVE SIGNATURE STREET PROJECTS; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 16-2864 approves the use of established GMP 5% contingency funds of $21, <br />796.00 related specifically to the Public Works Administration Building in order to fund the contingency fund <br />requests listed in Contingency Change Order No. 001 in the total amount of $5,768.80, and authorizes the <br />Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Consideration of related Budget Amendment # 16-046 <br />is also requested. <br />Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #16-046 will decrease various accounts in the Lake <br />Concord Park Fund in various amounts and increase the Public Works Building/Improvements account #401- <br />0750-536.62.25 in the amount of $5,769. A detailed listing of affected accounts as shown in BA #16-046 is <br />shown below: <br />BA # 16-046 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval of Contingency Change Order #1 to the <br />contract with Wharton -smith, Inc. for the Lake Concord Park project.
