RESOLUTION 16 -2838 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE ADDITION OF THE CONCORD DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CASSELTON DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, AND CARRIAGE HILL TO CASSELBERRY GREENWAY TRAIL CONNECTION PROJECT TO EXHIBIT C OF THE SEMINOLE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AND EDUCATION INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Seminole County voters approved a Third Generation Infrastructure Sales Tax by special election held on May 20, 2014; and WHEREAS, Casselberry joined Seminole County, Seminole County Public Schools and other Seminole County cities to approve the Seminole County Transportation and Education Infrastructure Plan Interlocal Agreement via Resolution 14 -2582; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has identified significant transportation infrastructure needs within the City, including roadway, trails, sidewalks, signals, and other needed improvements; and WHEREAS, many of these projects have been listed within the Seminole County Transportation and Education Infrastructure Plan Interlocal Agreement on Exhibit C; and WHEREAS, under Section 3 (c ) of the Agreement, project additions may be made to the listed projects on Exhibit C after the approval by the governmental entity proposing the change following a noticed public meeting; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry previously approved Resolution 15 -2791 adding the Triplet Lake Drive Realignment and Signature Street to listed projects on Exhibit C. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to add the Concord Drive Improvements Project, Casselton Drive Improvements Project, and Carriage Hill to Casselberry Greenway Trail Connection Project to listed projects on Exhibit C. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the addition of the Concord Drive Improvements Project, Casselton Drive Improvements Project, and Carriage Hill to Casselberry Greenway Trail Connection Project to the projects listed in Exhibit C (attached) of the Seminole County Transportation and Education Infrastructure Plan Interlocal Agreement.
