RESOLUTION 16 -2843 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING <br />AND AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT #2 TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND RISK MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES, INC., <br />DB /A/ PUBLIC RISK INSURANCE AGENCY, FOR PROFESSIONAL <br />INSURANCE AGENT/BROKER SERVICES FOR CITY EMPLOYEE BENEFITS <br />AND INSURANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the current agreement with Risk Management Associates, Inc., d /b /a Public Risk <br />Insurance Agency, to provide professional insurance agent/broker services to the City for employee <br />benefits and insurance was approved on April 8, 2013 for a two -year period; and <br />WHEREAS, Amendment #1 was approved on March 18, 2015 to extend the terms of the <br />agreement for a one (1) year period, expiring April 7, 2016; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to extend the agreement for an additional one -year <br />period, expiring April 7, 2017 as provided in Amendment #2. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTON I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Amendment #2 <br />to the Agreement with Risk Management Associates, Inc., d /b /a Public Risk Insurance Agency, to <br />provide professional insurance agent/broker services to the City for employee benefits and insurance <br />and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION IV. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to <br />be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, <br />or effects of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION V.
