Council of Local Governments in Seminole County ( CALNO) Report Vice Mayor Hufford reported that CALNO had met in Lake Mary on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 and the program presented focused on the I -4 Ultimate Project and concerns about the effect on traffic and the commercial businesses located at intersections at the entrances and exits to the interstate. F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency Report Commissioner Solomon reported that she had attended a meeting of the Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency in Sanford on Thursday, March 10, 2015. She advised that the Lake Mary and Seminole State College streetscape project had been approved, which consisted of a new, enhanced entryway from U.S. Highway 17 -92 into Lake Mary and the Seminole State College campus. She also advised that there was a two -year extension on the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and there were still funds available in the budget for additional projects along U.S. Highway 17 -92 if staff had suggestions for improvements along that corridor in the City of Casselberiy. No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. A. Ordinance 16 -1439 — Medical Marijuana Regulations for Dispensaries and Treatment Centers The City Clerk read Ordinance 16 -1439 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY CODE, PART III, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, TABLE 2 -5.3, LAND USE BY DISTRICT, TO ALLOW MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES AND MEDICAL MARIJUANA TREATMENT CENTERS AS A CONDITIONAL USE WITHIN THE I (INDUSTRIAL) AND IM (INDUSTRIAL - MEDIUM) ZONING DISTRICTS; AMENDING ARTICLE VII "GENERAL REGULATIONS" TO ADD SECTION 2 -7.34 FOR MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES AND MEDICAL MARIJUANA TREATME NT CENTERS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE."
