CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of April 13, 2015 — Regular Meeting Page 10 of 16 Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption of Ordinance 15 -1419. Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 15 -1419. The following individual came forward: 1. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced some concerns regarding the requirements for the tree bank contributions and suggested the City may wish to include a waiver in exchange for some other type of benefit. No one else came forward. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 15 -1419. MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 15 -1419 on second and final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. C. Second Reading of Ordinance 15 -1424 — Amending City Code Chapter 2, Administration, to establish board composition for the Community Redevelopment Agency The City Clerk read Ordinance 15 -1424 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING PART H, CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, ARTICLE IV, BOARDS, COMMITTEES AND COMMISSIONS, DIVISION 4, COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA), SECTION 2 -183 TO DESIGNATE THE CASSELBERRY GOVERNMENTAL BODY (CITY COMMISSION) AS THE CRA BOARD OF AGENCY COMMISSIONERS AND ELIMINATE SECTION 2 -184, TERMS OF OFFICE; VACANCIES, REAPPOINTMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing for Ordinance 15 -1424 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, April 2, 2015. Staff Presentation: Development Services Manager Randy Woodruff advised that there had been no changes to Ordinance 15 -1424 since first reading and stated staff was available to answer any questions from the Commission. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City's budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption of Ordinance 15 -1424.
