ORDINANCE 07- 1213 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, REPEALING CHAPTER 18, ANIMALS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; AND ADOPTING ALL OF CHAPTER 20, ANIMALS AND FOWL OF THE SEMINOLE COUNTY CODE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Seminole County has agreed to assume the animal control duties for the City of Casselberry; and WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it will be in the best interests of the citizens. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 18, Animals, of the City Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed in its entirety. SECTION 2. Chapter 20, Animals and Fowl of the Seminole County Code is hereby adopted in its entirety, and any amendments subsequently adopted by the County. SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Ordinance. SECTION 4. CODIFICATION. It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Code of Ordinance of the City of Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered or re- lettered to accomplish such intention; that the word, "Ordinance" may be changed to "Section," "Article," or other appropriate word. SECTION 5. CONFLICTS. This Ordinance shall repeal Chapter 18; Animals of the City's Code of Ordinances, and all other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions of this Ordinance are also hereby repealed. 40110 SECTION 6.
