yards. The front yards are those yards that abut both streets. <br />E. Through lots. Parking shall be allowed in the back rear yard, if substantially <br />screened from adjacent lots. <br />F. Screening shall be provided by a six -foot high opaque fence, six foot high opaque <br />wall, or a six foot high healthy hedge. <br />2) Multi- family residential district parking. Parking in multi - family residential districts (RMF- <br />13, RMF -20, PMX -L, PMX -H, RMHP, and PRD) shall be regulated as follows: <br />A. Three (3) to twenty four (24) dwelling units. Parking of recreational equipment on <br />site is prohibited. <br />B. Twenty five (25) dwelling units or more: <br />i) Recreational equipment shall be parked only in areas specifically designated <br />for such parking purposes. The management company and /or homeowners' <br />association are encouraged to actively enforce the requirements of any lease or <br />restrictive covenants on the common areas that relate to recreational equipment <br />parking. <br />ii) A minimum of one space per 25 units shall be provided for the purpose of <br />parking and storing recreational equipment. Any fraction of 25 shall require spaces <br />rounded up to the next whole number. <br />C. The recreational equipment storage area shall be at a distance as remote as <br />possible from surrounding residential districts or uses and from the dwelling units <br />within the complex. Screening is defined as 100% visual shielding or obscuring of <br />the vehicle or equipment by an opaque fence /wall or healthy landscape material <br />from adjacent properties and the residential units within. <br />D. The recreational equipment storage area shall be a paved surface consistent with <br />the rest of the parking area within the development, and shall provide ample ingress <br />and egress and space for easy maneuverability for the types of vehicles and <br />equipment using the area. <br />SECTION 2: Subsection (A) (3), Camping vehicles, of Section 3 -10.9, "Parking of vehicles in residential <br />districts" of Part III, Article X, of the City's Unified Land Development Regulations is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Ordinance No. 07 -1215 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
