ORDINANCE 16 -1437 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2 -4.3, UNIFIED LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING <br />THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF PMX -HIGH (PLANNED MIXED - <br />USE: HIGH RISE) FOR THE PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF <br />THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the properties described in Section 1 are within the corporate boundaries of <br />the City of Casselberry; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission / Local Planning Agency has held a <br />public hearing with due public notice to consider this Official Zoning Map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the properties hereinafter described will remain Major Thoroughfare Mixed <br />Use on the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the PMX -HIGH zoning district is consistent with the Major Thoroughfare <br />Mixed Use future land use designation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission / Local Planning Agency has held a <br />public hearing with due public notice to consider this Official Zoning Map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing on the question of including the subject properties, <br />hereinafter described, within the PMX -HIGH zoning district has been duly held in the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida, and, at such hearing, interested parties and citizens for and/or against the <br />proposed zoning district were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, after said Public Hearing, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida, has determined that the zoning classification of said properties shall be established as <br />PMX -HIGH, as that district is defined in Articles IV and V of Chapter II, as amended and <br />supplemented, of the Unified Land Development Regulations, Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That the Official Zoning Map established in Article IV, Section 2 -4.3. of <br />the Unified Land Development Regulations of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida, as amended and supplemented, be, and the same is, hereby amended to designate the <br />subject properties as PMX -High, for the parcels of land at 5655 US Highway 17 -92, being more <br />specifically described as follows, and shown in Exhibit A: <br />
