Ilrtroduction: Resolution 16 -2823 approves the purchase of the property located at 351 Concord Drive, parcel identification number 08- 21- 30- 511 -OA00 -0060 for the amount of $127,500 plus closing and other associated costs, approves the Contract for Sale and Purchase, and authorizes the Mayor to execute the documents on behalf of the City Commission. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #16 -031 is also requested. Discussion: The anticipated total cost of acquisition for this property is $137,725, including purchase, closing costs, survey, Phase 1 evaluation, acquisition fees, and appraisal. Budget Impact: Upon approval, Budget Amendment #16 -031 will decrease the Stormwater Fund Infrastructure account #001 - 0740 - 539.63 -40 and increase account #110 - 0740 - 539.61.07 in the amount of $137,275 for the acquisition of this property. BA #16 -0031 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval for the acquisition of 351 Concord Drive (parcel 08- 21- 30- 511 -OA00- 0060). This property will be used for improvements associated with the Concord Drive Improvement Project. Therefore, it is advantageous to obtain this property for the City's purposes.
