RESOLUTION 15 -2810 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT #16 TO THE CONTINUING <br />PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br />CONTRACT WITH ASSOCIATED CONSULTING INTERNATIONAL, <br />INC. TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PLANNING AND ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES TO FURTHER DEVELOP THE LAKE CONCORD PARK <br />DISTRICT PROPERTIES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City acquired 15.24 acres along U.S. Hwy. 17 -92 at Triplet Lake Drive <br />for purposes of developing the Lake Concord Park District; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is desirous of successfully completing a public - private partnership <br />with a developer to complete the Lake Concord Park District; and <br />WHEREAS, an Acquisition Agreement and Option to Purchase document with Casto <br />Casselberry, LLC was approved via Resolution 14 -2659 and an Acquisition Agreement with <br />Integra Lakes, LLC was approved via Resolution 14 -2660 on September 30, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is responsible for performing major infrastructure improvements <br />that include the realignment of Triplet Lake Drive, the partial demolition and reconstruction of <br />the Public Works building, site work to the entire 15 -acre property to the south and the <br />expansion of Lake Concord Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission approved a Continuing Professional Development <br />Management Services Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. (ACi) on April 9, <br />2012 via Resolution 12 -2361; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission approved Supplement #12 to the Continuing Services <br />Contract with ACi via Resolution 14 -2667 to perform all planning and engineering to enable the <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City approved the site plans (SPR 15 -09, 15 -10, 15 -11) developed for <br />the project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City selected Wharton Smith to be the Construction Manager at Risk <br />via Resolution 15 -2788 and approved the proposal to build the total project at a guaranteed <br />maximum price cost of $10,416,487; and <br />
