Planning & Zoning Commission/ Local Planning Agency October 14, 2015 Page 2 Fifth Item of Business: CU 15 -08: 1285 Seminola BoulevardMa Sushi. Conditional use for selling beer and wine in a CS (Service Commercial) zoning district. Mr. Bob Cantu, Planner II, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated October 14, 2015, and a PowerPoint Presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. Cantu said staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 15 -08 with the eleven conditions of approval outlined in the staff report. Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Zhao Huang, owner, 1285 Seminola Boulevard, Casselberry, Florida came forward. In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Huang said he has read and agrees with the conditions of approval. Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the request. No one came forward. Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address CU 15 -08. Mr. Bryan made a motion that the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 15 -08, conditional use to allow the on -site consumption of alcoholic beverages as allowed by the 2COP state license, for the property located at 1285 Seminola Boulevard, Unit 121, based on staffs approval including the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated October 14, 2015, and the eleven conditions of approval outlined in the staff report. Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. Sixth Item of Business: CU 15 -09: 907 SR 436 /Realm Tattoos. Conditional use for a body art establishment in a CG (Commercial General) zoning district. Ms. Emily Hanna, Planner I reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated October 14, 2015, and a PowerPoint Presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Hanna said staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 15 -09 to allow a Non - traditional use (body art establishment) at 907 State Road 436. She said staff recommends approval with the five conditions outlined in the staff report. In response to the Commission's question regarding notifying the other tenants in the plaza, Ms. Hanna said that is not a requirement of the conditional use process.
