RESOLUTION 13 -2450 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE <br />2013 -2017 VOLUNTARY COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR <br />FAMILY FOCUS MONITORING/ENFORCEMENT ACTION AND <br />OPERATIONAL ASSISTANCE BETWEEN THE CITIES OF <br />CASSELBERRY, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, LAKE MARY, <br />LONGWOOD, OVIEDO, SANFORD, WINTER SPRINGS, AND <br />THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to enter into a Voluntary Cooperation Agreement for <br />Family Focus Monitoring/Enforcement Action with the cities of Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, <br />Longwood, Oviedo, Sanford, Winter Springs, and the Seminole County Sheriff's Office to provide <br />operational assistance of a routine law enforcement nature at Family Focus, a court- sanctioned facility in <br />Sanford, Florida, on an as- needed basis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That the 2013 -2017 Voluntary Cooperation Agreement for Family Focus <br />Monitoring/Enforcement Action and duties of law enforcement personnel as set forth therein between the <br />City of Casselberry and the aforementioned agencies are hereby approved and shall remain in effect until <br />January 1, 2017. <br />SECTION 11. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry is hereby authorized to execute said <br />Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Casselberry. <br />SECTION 111. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION IV. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to <br />be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or <br />effects of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION V.
