RESOLUTION 13 -2448 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE 2013 -2017 VOLUNTARY COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR A CITY /COUNTY CANINE (K-9) UNIT BETWEEN THE CITIES OF CASSELBERRY, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, LAKE MARY, LONGWOOD, MAITLAND, OVIEDO, SANFORD, WINTER SPRINGS, AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE TO PROVIDE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT CANINE SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to enter into a Voluntary Cooperation Agreement with the cities of Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, Longwood, Maitland, Oviedo, Sanford, Winter Springs, and the Seminole County Sheriffs Office to provide operational assistance for law enforcement canine services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the 2013 -2017 Voluntary Cooperation Agreement for the City /County Canine (K -9) Unit and duties of law enforcement personnel as set forth therein between the City of Casselberry and the aforementioned cities and the Sheriff's Office, are hereby approved and will remain in effect until January 1, 2017. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION M. Severability. If Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful invalidate or impair the validity, force, o r Resolution. SECTION IV.
