RESOLUTION 13 -2553 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />CONVEYING CITY -OWNED PARCEL ID #10.21 -30- 501. 0000.0580 ON <br />PARK DRIVE TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF SEMINOLE COUNTY <br />AND GREATER APOPKA BY EXECUTION OF A WARRANTY DEED; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, on February 25, 2013, the City of Casselberry approved a grant application to <br />Seminole County for construction of new single family housing in partnership with Habitat for Humanity for <br />community residents; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 31, 2013 the application was recommended for approval by the County staff; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, on October 28, 2013 the City of Casselberry approved Resolution 13 -2540 accepting <br />award of the grant in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and executing a tri -party agreement between <br />the City, Seminole County and Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 12, 2013, the City of Casselberry approved Resolution 13 -2546 <br />designating City -owned parcel ID #10- 21 -30- 501 - 0000 -0580 on Park Drive as surplus property; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to convey said property on Park Drive to Habitat for Humanity of <br />Seminole County and Greater Apopka as part of the tri -party agreement to construct new single family <br />housing. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA: <br />SECTION 1. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves conveyance of <br />Parcel ID #10- 21 -30- 501 - 0000 -0580 by Warranty Deed (attached as Exhibit A) to Habitat for Humanity of <br />Seminole County and Greater Apopka and authorizes the Mayor to execute said instrument on behalf of <br />the City. <br />SECTION 2. CONFLICTS. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, word or <br />portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent <br />jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding <br />shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion hereto. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />passage and adoption. <br />This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />
