RESOLUTION 13 -2552 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, CONVEYING CITY -OWNED PARCEL ID #10.21.30. 504. 0000.0330 (1521 OAK LANE) TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF SEMINOLE COUNTY AND GREATER APOPKA BY EXECUTION OF A WARRANTY DEED; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on February 25, 2013, the City of Casselberry approved a grant application to Seminole County for construction of new single family housing in partnership with Habitat for Humanity for community residents; and WHEREAS, on May 31, 2013 the application was recommended for approval by the County staff; M WHEREAS, on October 28, 2013 the City Commission approved Resolution 13 -2540, accepting award of the grant in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and executing a tri -party agreement between the City, Seminole County and Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka; and WHEREAS, on November 12, 2013, the City of Casselberry approved Resolution 13 -2545 designating City -owned parcel ID #10- 21 -30- 504 - 0000 -0330 (1521 Oak Lane) as surplus property; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to convey 1521 Oak Lane to Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka as part of the tri -party agreement to construct new single family housing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves conveyance of Parcel ID #10- 21 -30- 504 - 0000 -0330 by Warranty Deed (attached as Exhibit A) to Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka and authorizes the Mayor to execute said instrument on behalf of the City. SECTION 2. CONFLICTS. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, word or portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion hereto. SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
