CITY OF CASSF,LBERRY <br />POLICE OFFICERS' AND FIREFIGHTERS' <br />9 ' <br />PENSION BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />The Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees met on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at <br />10:04 a.m. in the Casselbeny City Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselbery, Florida. <br />TRUSTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Daniel Glancy, Chairman <br />Matthew Hettler, Vice -Chair <br />James Strenth, Secretary <br />William Ilufford, Member <br />Anthony Van Ore, Member <br />TRUSTEE MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />None <br />Rebecca Bowman, Finance Director <br />Lorraine Armstrong, Records Management Liaison Officer <br />Scott Christiansen, Board Attorney <br />1. Call to Order with Pledge of Allegiance <br />The March 5, 2014 special meeting of the Police Officers' <br />order with the Pledge of Allegiance by Chairman Daniel <br />Chambers. The Agenda had been duly posted and circ <br />Management Liaison Officer for the Board. <br />2. Roll Call <br />and Firefighters' Pension Board was called to <br />Glancy at 10:04 a.m. in the City Commission <br />fated to the Board Members by the Records <br />Chairman Glancy called the roll of the Board Members. Chairman Glancy, Member Hufford, Member <br />Van Ore, Member Strenth, and Member Hettler were present. <br />3. Audience Participation <br />The floor was opened for audience participation and no one came forward to speak. <br />4. Initial Hearing on the Disability Retirement Claim Filed By Paul Carpenter <br />After discussion, the Board voted on the approval of the disability retirement claim filed by Paul <br />Carpenter. <br />MOTION: Member Hettler moved that Paul Carpenter is totally and permanently disabled <br />100% and unable to perform the duties of a firefighter and is awarded in line of <br />duty disability benefits and that no exclusionary factors are present. Motion was <br />seconded by Member Van Ore. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />
