ths CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />M CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />JANUARY 8, 2015 <br />The City of Casselberry held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., in the City of <br />Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Luis R. Guzman, Special Magistrate, <br />called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE: <br />Luis R. Guzman <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate approved minutes from the November 13, 2014 hearing. <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT <br />Chad Lingenfelter, Development Services Manager <br />John Cecil, Lead Code Compliance Officer <br />Nathan Johnson, Code Compliance Officer <br />Brenda Jones, Code Compliance- Coordinator/Recording Secretary <br />REDUCTION REQUEST <br />Roof maintenance. ULDR Section 3 -10.3 <br />• CE -08 -03646 852 Turtle Mound Drive <br />John Cecil, Lead Code Compliance officer gave the following testimony. Property owner, Daniel H. Osborne, the <br />volition was for ULDR Section 3- 10.3., Minimum Maintenance Standards and Guidelines. <br />The subject violation was found to be corrected and the property in compliance of ULDR Section 3 -10.3. on December <br />10, 2014. The fine from June 4, 2009, to December 10, 2014, (2,015 days) totals $201,500. The property owner has paid <br />$2,901.50 to cover staff time and costs involved. Staff recommends a reduction of this fine to $1,000. The City <br />Commission will consider the recommendati on by the Special Magistrate and determine the lien amount reduction. <br />Daniel Howard Osborne, 852 Turtle Mound Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707, stated he agreed with what was said. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if Mr. Osborne was in agreement to reduce the fine amount to $1,000. <br />Mr. Osborne stated he was in agreement. <br />The Special Magistrate stated if the Commission does agree with the recommendation, there will be 60 days to pay. <br />Mr. Osborne stated he would be able to pay off the reduced lien in 60 days. <br />11Page <br />
