RESOLUTION 15 -2730 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CLOSING, VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF <br />A PORTION OF THE NORTH LAKE GRIFFIN DRIVE RIGHT -OF -WAY <br />AS PLATTED IN KATHRYN PARK AND AS RECORDED IN PLAT <br />BOOK 5, PAGE 67 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida, to close, vacate and abandon a portion of the North Lake Griffin Drive right -of -way, more <br />particularly described on Exhibit "A "; and <br />WHEREAS, all affected utilities have reviewed the petition and have no objections; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that the closing, vacation and abandonment of a <br />portion of said right -of -way will not present a detriment to either the City of Casselberry, Florida, or <br />the public. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the closing, <br />vacation and abandonment of a portion of the North Lake Griffin Drive right -of -way (described on <br />Exhibit "A" attached) in the City of Casselberry, renounces any rights in and to the afore - described <br />right -of -way, and authorizes the Mayor to sign this resolution on behalf of the City Commission. <br />Section II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />Section III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to <br />be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />Section IV.
