FIB I&L REPORT OF THE ZONING ColaisSIG." <br />OF THE TOVIM OF CA,SSELBERRY, FT ORIDA. <br />OFT F.EOPOSED ZONING ORDINp?`TCE, <br />SECTION 1. DEFINITIONS. <br />(a) building. cesscry building.. A subordinante building or portion of main <br />building, the use of which is incidental to that of the main buildings and which <br />occupies the same parcel of land, <br />(b) Apartment House. A building, or structure used or intended to be <br />used as the dwelling place of three or more families living independently of each <br />other (see also Dwelling, Multipla). <br />(c) Boarding House. A building other than a hotel, where lodging or <br />meals or both are served for compensation. <br />(d) Building, Height of* The vertical distance measured from the <br />grade to the mean height of the slope of the main roof. The height of a wall is <br />the vertical distance from the grade to the mean level of the top of the wall, <br />including any dormers or gables on the well. <br />(e) Dwelling, Single Family. A detached building designed for, or <br />occupied exclusively by, one family• <br />(f) Dmrelling Two Family (Duplex). A detached building designed <br />for, or occupied exclusively by, two families independently of each other, <br />(g) Df7selling, Multiple. A building or portion thereof used or <br />intended to be used as a dwelling place of three or more families living <br />independently of each other. <br />(h) Family. One or more persons occupying a premises and living as <br />a.single housekeeping unit, as distinguished from a group occupying a boarding <br />house, lodging house or hotel as herein defined. <br />(i) Frontageb All the property abutting on one (1) side of a street. <br />(j) Garage Apartment and Guest Apartment. A detached accessory <br />building wholly or partly designed for automobile storage and /or accomodation of <br />not more than one family. <br />(k) Garage, Private. A building or space used as an accessory to <br />or a part of a main building, permitted in any residence district for the storage <br />of motor vehicles. <br />(1) Garage, Public. Any building or premises, other than a private <br />or storage garage= used for the storage or care of motor vehicles, or where any <br />such vehicles are equipped for operation. repaired or kept for remuneration, hire <br />or sale, <br />(m) Guest House, Any dwelling in which rooms are rented for guests <br />or for lodginf of transients and travelers for compensation and so advertised <br />to the public. <br />(n) Hotel. A building or other structure kept, used, maintained, <br />advertised as or held out to the public to be a place where sleeping accomodations <br />are supplied for pay to transient or permanent guests or tenants, in which ten <br />or more rooms are furnished for the accommodation of such guests, and having or <br />not having one or more dining rooms, restaurants or cafes where meals or lunches <br />are served to transient or permanent guests, such sleeping accomodations and <br />dining rooms, restaurants or cafes, if existing, being conducted in the same <br />building or buildings in connection therewith. <br />(o) Lodging (Rooming) rouse® Any house, or other structure, where <br />living or sleeping quarters, but not housekeeping accommodations are supplied <br />for pay to transient or permanent guests or :tenants. <br />(p) Lot (Parcel). Land consisting of one or more than one contig- <br />uous lots of record occupied or to be occupied by a building and its accessory <br />buildings with such open spaces as are required by ordinance and fronting on a <br />thoroughfare. <br />(q) Lot, Corner. Lot situated at the junction of two or more <br />streets and having a depth not greater than seventy-five (75) feet. In the <br />event that the depth of a lot situated at the junction of two or more streets <br />shall exceed seventy -five (75) fee's, them the depth in excess of a corner lot <br />
