9. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />A. First Reading of Ordinance 14 -1412 - Annexation of ANN Bowling Center Parcels and a <br />Portion of Wilshire Boulevard <br />Ordinance 14 -1412 provides for the annexation of the AMF Bowling Center parcels (PIN 20- 21 -30- 300 -OA1B -0000 and <br />PIN 20- 21 -30- 300 -OA1E -0000) and a portion of Wilshire Boulevard into the City's limits. <br />10. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />The purpose of a Public Hearing is to receive input regarding the item being considered. Public Hearings are not intended to <br />be a time for the public to obtain information about the subject matter of the hearing. Public Hearing: First Reading of Ordinance 14 -1411 - Establishing a Temporary <br />Moratorium of 270 Days Prohibiting the Operation of Any Medical Marijuana Facilities <br />This item has been pulled from the agenda as the amendment to allow for medical marijuana was not approved during the <br />election held on November 4, 2014. <br />B. Public Hearing: First Reading of Ordinance 14 -1413 - Amendment to Comprehensive Plan <br />Text and the Future Land Use Map to Create the Lake Concord Overlay District (LPA 14- <br />03) <br />Ordinance 14 -1413 provides for amending Comprehensive Plan text and the Future Land Use Map for properties located <br />in the vicinity of U.S. Highway 17 -92 and Triplet Lake Drive to create the Lake Concord Overlay District. <br />C. Public Hearing: First Reading of Ordinance 14 -1414 - Amendment to the Unified Land <br />Development Regulations (ULDR) and Official Zoning Map to include the Lake Concord <br />Overlay District (LPA 14 -08) <br />Continuation of this item is being requested to a date certain of January 12, 2015. <br />11.
