RESOLUTION 14 -2652 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT #11 TO THE CONTINUING <br />PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br />CONTRACT WITH ASSOCIATED CONSULTING <br />INTERNATIONAL, INC. TO PROVIDE DEVELOPMENT <br />SERVICES FOR "CITY CENTER "; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City acquired approximately 15.24 acres along U.S. Hwy. 17 -92 at <br />Triplet Lake Drive, as well as additional acreage referred to as the "Lake Concord" and "Target" <br />outparcels located on U.S. Hwy. 17 -92, for purposes of developing a City Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission approved a Continuing Professional Development <br />Management Services Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. via Resolution 12- <br />2361 on April 9, 2012 to provide continuing professional development management services to <br />the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is desirous of successfully completing a public - private partnership <br />with a team of developers to complete development of the City Center properties; and <br />WHEREAS, an Acquisition Agreement and Option to Purchase document with Casto <br />Southeast Realty Services, LLC and Integra Lakes, LLC to develop the City Center properties <br />was approved via Resolution 13 -2503 on July 8, 2013; and <br />WHEREAS, an Amended and Restated Acquisition Agreement and Option to Purchase <br />document with Casto Southeast Realty Services, LLC and Integra Lakes, LLC to develop the <br />City Center properties was approved via Resolution 14 -2570 on January 27, 2014 superseding <br />the earlier agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, preconstruction oversight as well as construction implementation services <br />are necessary to complete the next phase of the development process; and <br />WHEREAS, Associated Consulting International, Inc. (ACi) has provided a proposal in <br />the amount of $51,000 to accomplish the work required; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the proposed Supplemental Agreement #11 to the <br />contract with ACi and finds it sufficient to meet the needs of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
