RESOLUTION 14 -2600 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE LAKE VIEW CENTER LIFT STATION/ SEWER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FROM MILLENIUM INVESTMENT HOLDINGS, CORP. III; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on September 16, 1996, via Ordinance No. 96 -870, the City of Casselber7y annexed lands into the City limits as part of an Urban Services Plan, which included properties at the intersection of US 17 -92 and State Road 436; and WHEREAS, as part of the annexation Ordinance, within one year of the annexation, the City was to provide sewer service to the properties along the north side of SR 436 to Anchor Road; and WHEREAS, Millenium Investment Holdings, Corp III is the property owner of one property that was annexed, Parcel ID #17- 21 -30- 300 -009C -0000, and desired to redevelop the property which required new sewer service; and WHEREAS, Millenium Investment Holdings, Corp III has constructed the required sewer infrastructure improvements, including a lift station for the redevelopment (Lake View Center); and WHEREAS, Millenium Investment Holdings, Corp III has offered to convey the new sewer infrastructure improvements (Lake View Center Lift Station/Sewer Infrastructure Improvements) to the City for its construction costs of $149,950; and WHEREAS, utility easements have been granted to the City so that the Lake View Center lift station/sewer infrastructure improvements may be accessed and maintained by the City; and WHEREAS, Public Works staff has reviewed the offer to acquire the Lake View Center lift station/sewer infrastructure improvements and found it favorable to meet the needs of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves and accepts the conveyance of the Lake View Center lift station/sewer infrastructure improvements as per the Bill of Sale from Millenium Investment Holdings, Corp III (attached as Exhibit A) for the amount of $149,950.
