RESOLUTION 14 -2606 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 4 WITH REISS ENGINEERING, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES RELATED TO THE SEMINOLA FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City recently completed a Wastewater Transmission Master plan that provided a prioritized capital improvement plan; and WHEREAS, the Wastewater Transmission Master plan indicated that the Seminola force main pipe required upsizing and replacement; and WHEREAS, the Seminola Force Main Replacement Project is the top priority project on the Wastewater Transmission Master Plan; and WHEREAS, funds associated with the Seminola Force Main Replacement Project are anticipated to be included in the FY 2015 budget and have been included in the FY 2014 capital improvement plan; and WHEREAS, on August 26, 2013, via Resolution 13 -2519, the City Commission approved a Standard Consultant Agreement with Reiss Engineering, Inc. (Reiss) for Continuing Water and Sewer Professional Utility Engineering Services; and WHEREAS, Reiss has submitted a scope of services proposal via Supplemental Agreement No. 4 for design services for the Seminola Force Main Replacement project, for an amount not to exceed $104,372 without prior authorization; and WHEREAS, Public Works staff has reviewed Supplemental Agreement No. 4 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with Reiss and finds it favorable to meet the needs of the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves Supplemental Agreement No. 4 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with Reiss Engineering, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $104,372 for design services related to the Seminola Force Main Replacement project and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed.
