RESOLUTION 14 -2563 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 TO THE STANDARD <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH ARCADIS, U.S., INC. FOR DESIGN <br />SERVICES FOR WATER MAIN AND GRAVITY SEWER <br />IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City maintains a potable water distribution and gravity sewer collection <br />network that provides water and sewer services to its residents and customers; and <br />WHEREAS, through Master Planning efforts conducted by Public Works staff and <br />consultants, several key areas of the distribution and collection network were identified that <br />required expansion; and <br />WHEREAS, ARCADIS, U.S., Inc. (ARCADIS), was selected for a continuing utility <br />engineering services contract on August 26, 2013 via Resolution 13 -2521; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works staff negotiated a proposal from ARCADIS to perform <br />design services for the water main and gravity sewer improvements in the amount of <br />$235,185.90 and finds it favorable to the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Supplemental Agreement No.l to the Standard Consultant Agreement with ARCADIS and <br />authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV.
