RESOLUTION 13 -2545 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AWARDING REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL 20140001 FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND AMERICAN MAINTENANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry advertised Request for Proposal 20140001 for Janitorial Services at six (6) designated City facility locations; and WHEREAS, on November 4, 2013 the City received five (5) proposals for Janitorial Services at the six (6) designated locations; and WHEREAS, a City staff evaluation committee reviewed the proposals of the firms and American Maintenance was the top ranked firm and is recommended for approval at an annual contract amount of $93,144. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City of Casselberry hereby awards Request for Proposal 20140001 for Janitorial Services to, and approves the agreement with, American Maintenance for an annual amount of $93,144 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolution in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
