Budget Amendment #13 -048A — Restoration and Upgrades to Police Mobile <br />Command Vehicle <br />Introduction: Budget Amendment #13 -048A provides for consideration of the restoration and upgrade of the <br />Police Department's mobile command vehicle in the amount of $1,351. <br />Budget Impact: The additional cost to upgrade the mobile command center vehicle will increase the <br />Municipal Impact Fee Fund Other Operating Sources account #116- 0000 - 389.90 -00 and increase the Vehicles <br />account #116- 0610 - 521.67 -22 by $1,351. <br />BA #13 -048A <br />Explanation of Request: On May 13, 2013 the Commission approved Budget Amendment 13 -048, which <br />provided $10,000 to purchase a mobile command vehicle from the City of Sanford and up to an additional <br />$15,000 in restoration and upgrades. The proposal from Pride Enterprises came in $1,351 higher than <br />estimated. This item seeks City Commission approval of Budget Amendment 13 -048A to add $1,351 for <br />additional restoration and upgrades to the Police Department's Mobile Command Vehicle. The revised cost <br />for the mobile command vehicle is $26,3 51. Monies for the Law Enforcement Impact Fee fund will be used to <br />fund the aforementioned. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />116 - 0000 - 389.90 -00 Other Non Operating Source $1,351 <br />116- 0610 - 521.67 -22 Vehicles $1,351 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Budget Amendment <br />#13-048A. <br />C. Budget Amendment #13 -051 — Purchase of Replacement Pump for Casselberry <br />Pump Station No. 29 <br />Introduction: Budget Amendment #13-051 provides for consideration to allocate $7,524 for the purchase of a <br />replacement pump from Xylem Water Solutions USA, Inc. for Casselberry Pump Station No. 29. <br />Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #13 -051 provides for $7,524 in funding to be transferred from the <br />Public Works Distribution & Collection, Hold for Future Capital Outlay account 401 - 0751 - 536.67 -99 to <br />Public Works Distribution & Collection, Equipment Other 401 - 0751 - 536.67 -35. <br />BA #13 -051 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for costs associated <br />with the purchase of a pump for Casselberry Pump Station No. 29. On April 22, 2013 the Commission <br />approved Budget Amendment 13 -041, which provided a $25,000 threshold in each of three accounts within <br />Public Works for capital equipment purchases that require immediate replacement.
