CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 12, 2013 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 of 16 <br />The change in what was agreed to with Resolution 13 -2476 concerns retirement eligibility age. <br />Employees hired after the effective date will have a change in normal retirement eligibility <br />• to become age 55 with 10 years of service instead of age 58 with 8 years previously <br />negotiated, or <br />• age 52 with 25 years of service instead of 28 years of service regardless of age previously <br />negotiated. <br />Budget Impact: the Budget impact will be determined upon an actuarial impact study. It is anticipated that <br />the plan changes previously agreed to with Resolution 13 -2476 combined with the revision here with <br />Resolution 13 -2517 will reduce the amount of contribution to the pension plan required from the City. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Resolution 13 -2517. <br />F. Resolution 13 -2518 — Reiss Supplement Agreement No. 10 to the Continuing Consulting <br />Services contract for Professional Water and Sewer Engineering Services <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. <br />10 TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH REISS ENGINEERING, INC., FOR <br />DESIGN OF UPGRADES FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND WATER <br />RECLAMATION FACILITY CONTROL SYSTEM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 13 -2518 approves Supplemental Agreement No. 10 to the Standard Consultant <br />Agreement with Reiss Engineering, Inc. for design of upgrades for the Water Treatment Plant and Water <br />Reclamation Facility Control System for an amount not to exceed $55,115.04, and authorizes the Mayor to <br />execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />Budget Impact: Funding for costs associated with Supplemental Agreement No. 10 (for an amount not -to- <br />exceed $55,115.04 without prior authorization) is available in the Water Reclamation Division Professional <br />Services Account #401- 0753 - 536.31 -00 ($27,557.52) and the Water Production Division Professional Services <br />Account #401 - 0754 - 536.31 -00 ($27,557.52). <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />13 -2518. <br />G. Sole Source Purchase of Stryker Power Load System Stretcher Upgrade and Related Budget <br />Amendment #13 -062 <br />Introduction: This item provides for consideration for the sole source purchase of a Stryker Power Load <br />System stretcher upgrade including installation from Stryker EMS Equipment in the amount of $2,359 and <br />related Budget Amendment #13 -062. <br />Budget Impact: Uncommitted funds exist in the Equipment Replacement Fund due to the placement of the <br />
