City of Casselherry Police Officers' and <br />Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees <br />Minutes of May 14, 2013 Meeting <br />Page 4 of 7 <br />MOTION: Member Hettler moved to approve the Return of Contributions. Motion was <br />seconded by Member Glancy. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />7. Miscellaneous <br />Ordinance 13 -1338 defining salary and limiting to 300 hours of overtime, as per Senate Bill 1128 <br />was adopted by the City Commission on May 13, 2013 after second reading. The adoption was <br />precipitated by the adoption of new contracts by the Police and Fire unions subsequent to July <br />2012. <br />Mr. Christensen presented an Ordinance to adopt amendments to the language of the Plan as <br />required by changes in and rulings by the Internal Revenue Code. A letter from the Actuary is <br />forthcoming stating that these changes will have no fiduciary impact. <br />MOTION: Member Glancy moved to approve the Ordinance to amend the Plan language as <br />required by Internal Revenue Code and for presentation of the Ordinance to the <br />City Commission. Motion was seconded by Member Stewart. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />Mr. Christensen presented an Amendment to revise Operating Rules and Procedures Rule 15.1 <br />regarding the extent of confidentiality permitted as per Florida Statute 119. Under a revision to <br />the Statute, Police Officer's and Firefighter's dates of birth are now considered confidential. The <br />form required by the State regarding this change in Statute was signed and filed by the City <br />Clerk, as required. <br />MOTION: Member Strenth moved to approve revised Rule 15.1 of the Operating Rules and <br />Procedures as presented. Motion was seconded by Member Hettler. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />Board Resolution 2013 -01 to make Lorraine Armstrong the Records Management Liaison <br />Officer (RMLO) replacing Rebecca Bowman in that role, now that Ms. Bowman is the Finance <br />Director. In addition, the Resolution adopts the GS1 -SL as the Plan's record retention schedule. <br />MOTION: Member Hettler moved to approve Board Resolution 2013 -01. Motion was <br />seconded by Member Glancy. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />8. Staff Report <br />It was reported the following are new members of the Plan: <br />Fire — Jason Baugh — 04/01/2013 <br />Fire — Joshua Gentile — 03/11/2013 <br />Fire — Alexis Zimmerman — 03/11/2013 <br />It was reported the following members separated from the Plan: <br />Fire — Lawrence Romaldo — 03 -12 -2013 <br />
