(C.S.G.), is pleased to present a revised design solution for a new access control platform for the
City's re- visited security initiative, This proposal is based on our latest meeting last Thursday January 20th, 2011 at your office and
follow up phone conversations. The scope of work that this proposal is based on Is as follows...
Access Control Security Management System
C.S.G. proposes provision of a new access control hardware and software platform to the city hall and public works fire department
buildings. City of Casselberry shall provide the computer server with proper windows operating systems for the software to be
loaded on. C.S.G. shall include a total of two concurrent clients for which the software will run on city provided client computers.
This proposal for the new electronic access control system platform to city hall and public works building will include pricing for the
contactless proximity based reader system as the most cost effective scenario for reader entrance technology. This sealed type
reader is also much more maintenance free rather than utilizing a swipe type reader that can cause many more error reads by
allowing dust, dirt and moisture into the reader slot. There are a total of 100 patented Identicard Omnilife teslin based cards
(printable -for future ID badge) type smart/proximity cards included at this time within the city hall option. Single sided printer
included at this time (as added option) for card identification of all in one photo ID and access badge, however base access control
software in P,D, upgrade cost does have the badging software component included.
C,S.G. shall provide new electric strikes for locking mechanisms for standard single doors identified during our meeting and
magnetic locks for sets of double doors Identified during the meeting. Existing electric strikes in place will be reused (if these are
not operational) or need replacement there will be a revision to the cost. Any door hardware changes (if needed) shall be by City of
Casselberry door hardware vendor. Proposal is inclusive of any of the door readers is request to exit devices where required as
well as door position switches connected to the access control system. Each door can be operated to be locked or unlocked via
time zones as well as allowing access to only certain authorized card holders for Individual doors and times. Reports can be
generated to any exceptions that take place as well as any unauthorized entry via forced door open etc. This proposal is broken
out into three sections, The first being the P.D. software upgrade and enhancement from current end of life "IDentipass" system.
The second section including the main city hall building and last the scope of work to be included in the public works and fire
department offices. Any special access to areas telecom closets shall be given to C.S.G. for installation. City is responsible for
availability of required 120vac power UPS or generator circuits for the lock power supply locations and access control panel
locations. Connection to these circuits shall be included In our breakout cost of electrical work indicated later in this cost proposal
scope of work. These locations will be determined in the field once works commences. City I.T. department shall also provide
static /reserve ip network address at each of the access control panel locations one for main city hall building and one for public
works building.
