the lien may be redeemed at any time prior to sale by its owner by paying the total amount due <br />under the corresponding assessment lien including interest, court costs, advertising costs and <br />reasonable attorney's fees. <br />9. Authority to expend funds. Nothing contained herein shall require the City Commission to <br />appropriate or expend any funds to carry out the purpose of this Section, The authority granted <br />herein is permissive and shall not be construed to impose an obligation on the Building Official or the <br />City to condemn or demolish any building or structure. <br />10. Provisions supplemental and in addition to other powers. The provisions of this section shall not be <br />deemed to repeal or modify any city ordinance, provision of the City Code, Florida Building Code or <br />Florida Fire Prevention Code relating to condemnation, demolition of buildings and structures, or <br />abatement of unsafe conditions or imminent hazards but the provisions herein shall be supplemental <br />and in addition to the powers that may be exercised by the City Commission, its officers and <br />employees. <br />SECTION 2: CODIFICATION, It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of <br />the Code of Ordinance of the City of Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections of this Ordinance may be <br />renumbered or re- lettered to accomplish such intention; that the word, "Ordinance" may be changed to <br />"Section," "Article," or other appropriate word. <br />SECTION 3: CONFLICTS. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed, <br />SECTION 4. SEVERABILITY. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of <br />any other Section or part of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 5: EFFECTIVE DATE.
