IN: owl I <br />The City of Casselberry's Parks & Recreation Advisory Board held its regular meeting <br />Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet <br />Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. June Herron called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />Board Members Present: <br />June Herron <br />Cheryl Evans <br />Daphne Keys <br />Jessica Eckhart <br />Staff Present: <br />Linda Moore, Recreation Manager <br />Betty Teagle, Office Assistant <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Ms. Evans moved to approve the February 14th minutes as written. Ms. Keys seconded <br />the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />�._ e - <br />KE <br />® Twenty bags of air potatoes and 25 bags of trash were removed from the area <br />near Wirz Trailhead during the recent Air Potato Raid. This was the last air potato <br />raid of 2012. <br />® The City is trying to secure Casselberry Elementary School to hold its summer <br />camp (50 children). Wirz Park will be the alternate location. <br />® Wirz Pool is being renovated and is scheduled to be opened for Memorial Day <br />weekend. The pool will have open swim seven days a week. Family passes will <br />be available for $45 (residents), and $65 (non - residents). <br />® Art Academy will begin at the Art House on June 4th. All of the instructors are art <br />teachers in area schools. <br />® EarthFest will be held in Lake Concord Park on April 28th. There will be tree a <br />giveaway, vendors, music, and demonstrations. <br />® There will be an Art and Music in the Park event this Friday, April 13 in Lake <br />Concord Park. Food will be provided by Food Truck Bazaar. On May 11, there <br />will another Art and Music in the Park event which will include the unveiling of <br />Pop up Piano in Lake Concord Park. <br />
