• Summer Camp and Art Academy registration is open. <br />• There will be a Rock -n -Roll concert and Car Show on May 25 in Lake Concord <br />Park. <br />• The final Movie in the Park, Wreck it Ralph, will be held May 3. The program will <br />then be on break over the summer and resume in September. <br />• The Farmer's Market organizers would like to continue over the summer due to <br />the large success. The market hours, currently 12 -4 pm, will be10 am -2 pm <br />beginning in June. <br />• There is an Art & Music in the Park event this Friday, April 12. The featured <br />entertainment will be Jeff Rupert, a local jazz musician. <br />• A Senior Dance will be held on May 17 from 7 -9 pm at the Recreation Center. <br />Volunteers are needed to help serve the dinner. <br />• A representative from the City of Sanford will be visiting this Thursday to tour and <br />get tips on how to set up artwork. <br />• Ms. Moore will get the updated bike trail map from Mr. Cruz and bring copies to <br />the next meeting. <br />Board Member Reports <br />Ms. Evans reported that the Impact Art Group is moving forward with their 501(c)(3). <br />They have also been approached by Lake Mary Art Association and Leesburg. Both <br />groups are interested in working with them. <br />Ms. Keys mentioned that the Target Foundation sponsors a bike rental program in <br />Minnesota. Ms. Keys will send the link to Linda. <br />Audience Participation <br />Mr. Casselberry, 700 S. Lost Lake Ln., owns a small house next to his that he would like <br />to sell soon. He mentioned that the City may be interested in using it as park space or a <br />boat launch area. He will speak with an attorney before bringing this to the City <br />Commission. <br />Adjournment <br />Ms. Evans moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:26 pm. Ms. Eckhart seconded the <br />motion.
