Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency <br />September 14, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Eric Raasch, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated September 14, <br />2011, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br />Department). Mr. Raasch provided a PowerPoint presentation (a copy is attached and made a part of the minutes). <br />Mr. Raasch said staff is recommending approval of SP 11 -01. He said if the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission chooses to recommend approval to the City Commission for SP 11 -01 Thompson Property preliminary <br />re -plat at 1428 Lake Shore Drive and 1469 Park Drive, Casselberry, Florida, the approval would be based upon the <br />re -plat dated August 1, 2011, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated September 14, 2011, and <br />the following conditions: <br />1. The applicant shall update the Title Certificate after the sale of the property so the City is removed as <br />an owner of the property. <br />2. The City Surveyor shall execute the signature block prior to referral of the final plat to the City <br />Commission. <br />3. The final plat shall be submitted in the following form prior to review by the City Commission: (1) <br />electronic PDF copy and (2) 20" x 24" copies. <br />4. The applicant, per F.S. Chapter 177, is responsible for the City Surveyor and City Attorney fees. The <br />applicant is also responsible for Seminole County recording fees. <br />5. After City Commission approval, the applicant shall provide one (1) mylar of the recorded plat executed <br />by the owner, surveyor and City Surveyor, and any other information requested as part of compliance to <br />F.S. Chapter 177, <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked the applicant to come forward. The applicant was not available. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request, No one came forward. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address SP 11 -01. Mr. Aramendia made a motion to provide a <br />favorable recommendation to the City Commission for SP 11 -01, Thompson replat, based on staff memo dated <br />September 14, 2011 from Mr. Raasch to the Planning and Zoning Commission as presented. Mr. Bakalla seconded <br />the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Sixth Item of Business: CU 1112: 1555 State Road 436 — Anatolia Restaurant & Pizza.
